Most of our children on the spectrum have both stomach and bowel disorders. They can have diarrhea or constipation or both. Many have chronic abdominal pain, bleeding of the GI tract, Liver Disease, Gastroesophagel Reflux Disease (GERD), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Gastritis or Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Our children are often unable to properly absorb nutrients, may be lactose-intolerant or have food allergies. Presenter: Dr. Howard Barron is a Board Certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist |
